Every Spring there is an overflow of visitors to St. Petersburg, Florida for the Honda Grand Prix. Every hotel room in a 20-mile radius is sold out and every marina slip is spoken for. The organizers of the race, along with Acura, sought out to build a transportable, high end marina to house extra-large watercraft. Additionally, this system would double as a floating party platform for VIP race fans. GatorDock® designed a flexible system that would offer premium amenities to luxury yachts as well as be reconfigurable for future events. The aluminum decked floating docks and DRI gangways provided an upscale, maintenance free home away from home for the Acura Yacht Club guests.
