Project Summary

Many municipalities are changing their boating access focus from motorized watercraft to non-motorized watercraft, as kayaking and canoeing have increased in popularity. Special design considerations need to be made when designing docks specifically for canoes or kayaks. The Delaware DNREC chose GatorDock® because of our in-house design experience with kayak and canoe launch systems. The full float system increased stability while providing a low freeboard for easy loading and unloading. This system features custom aluminum canoe cradles and handlebars as well as toe curb for user safety.
